The clinic

From gymnast to therapist.

Holly is a qualified and insured sports therapist. As a former gymnast, she knows the impact sport and physical activity can have on the body, and she has felt the difference good sports therapy makes to performance, pain and recovery.

She specialises in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, cupping and kinesiology taping, and takes time to explain what she is doing and what you can do at home between sessions.

“Helping you feel better and get back to your best is exactly what I strive for with every client.”

Questions

Before you book.

Anything else, send a message on Instagram or ask when you arrive.

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book any treatment yourself online, without a referral from a GP or anyone else.

What should I wear?

Something comfortable that lets you move. For lower body treatment, shorts are easiest; for your back, neck or shoulders, a vest top or sports bra works well.

You will only ever be asked to uncover the area being treated, and towels are used throughout.

How do I book?

Online through Fresha, with instant confirmation: choose a treatment, a therapist and a time. You can also scan the QR code on the clinic door.

Is there parking?

Yes, there is parking available at the clinic on Barnsley Road, and it is close to public transport.

Can I pay in clinic?

You can pay through the Fresha app when you book. If you would rather pay another way, ask when you arrive.

What is the difference between a sports therapist and a physiotherapist?

Both work with injuries and movement. Physiotherapist is a title protected by law: physiotherapists are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and work across a wide range of conditions, in the NHS and privately.

Sports therapists specialise in muscle and joint problems linked to sport, exercise and everyday activity: hands-on treatment such as massage, injury assessment, and exercises to help you recover and stay active. The team here are sports therapists, not physiotherapists.

If something sounds outside what we do, we will say so, and suggest you speak to your GP.
